Hey guys!
As you can see, I decided to change the Style of our forum. However, I am not really satisfied with it yet. So This is only the BETA Version. It would be awesome if you can help me with your opinions and vote for your favourite option!
Any suggestions are welcomed. In the end I will try my best of what the majority decides.

Also, there's the possibility that we'll have a header with changing images again. What do you think? Do you want to have such a header banner again?

I think it looks a lot better than the old one. And I think we should have a header with changing images so we won't get sick of seeing the same image over and over. I'm still trying to think of things you should change.

This new style looks great =D and I love the logo with the hearts on the I x3x3x3
I like the blue colour but I also like the other one you made xDD I can't decide wich one I prefer xD
and in my opinion the images in the header shouldn't change... I don't know why, but I like seeing always the same image xD but this is only my opinion =D

I agree with kikka but one thing: I love the header but changing headers would be fine, too. As long as the style stays the same. ^^

BUT i like this one x3 ... but well i also love blue (blue obsessed freak 8D ) so that's maybe why i love it ;D

the brown one is also awesome :3

i think it should stay so ... no changing header/pics or whatever ... cuz if it's changin like every 10 min then the server might crash .. or something similar :/ (that statement might be wrong cuz i fail at websites ROFL) :'D

also i would make those refelctions new .. they don't seem so real now... maybe not too much but a little bit gaussian blur

i like the new style better than the old one and i love this coloring better but the other coloring is great too ( i could be saying that just cuz blue is my fav color XD ). i think that the header should change i think it would be fun

Like almost everyone as said, I love this layout a lot more than the older one. I think that changing the header's image would be very cool, so that we don't have to look at the same image over and over again ^.^

WOW. Fantastic work on the layout Mina! I was seriously amazed when I came here and saw it.
I really like both colors, although I must say I prefer the blue one.
And it wouldn't be a bad idea if the banners changed as long as they remained in the same style as someone mentioned.

I want the headers with changing images definitely back! xD I loved them, and about the new layout...it's totally amazing! xD so much better than the old one. Good job *_*

Yes I love this new style ^_^ Its cleaner-feeling, more organized...also I much prefer the blue colour to the brown option, hehe but thats because I love blue. Maybe if you added in some softer pink tones somehow it would also give the whole appearence some more appeal. Just something to deviate from the blue a bit.

As for the banner/header, Im still not sure. I liked how it changed before, but I always kept feeling like I was on the wrong page because the images kept changing. So in a way I like that it stays the same. Maybe you could make it bigger though, and have it fit the width of the table you have for the rest of the information (the banner is a good inch or so smaller in width) I love the text and the flower designs though ^_^ But maybe you could make the text a little bigger? The first thing I notice when I look at the banner is the ghost image of the anime girl, and not the title. The title is always what should stand out first...if you made it bigger that could fix that.

Since a lot of the forums here are quite used and therefore lengthy, it gets annoying to have to scroll ALL the way up all the time, just to get back to the top so that I can click the homepage button. I suggest the addition of a

"Back to Top" button to be placed at the bottom of the most recent post, so that someone can reply, and then simply click "Back to Top" and it snaps the site back to the top, so no more scrolling is needed

=D just an idea ^_^

Thanks for all the suggestions and for sharing your opinions guys! It really helps a lot and I've made some decisions now. I will give you a huge update about the Design soon and we will make votings, one or two, to make sure that the most popular design wins!

LOL I fail. Yah...ok, my suggestion is then to make it more obvious, maybe instead of an arrow for "up" you should use text "Back to Top" just to make it REALLY obvious to oblivious people like me !! XDDD

Sorry to be a little late into the thread but I would like to say a few things if that is okay ^0^

First of all, I LOVE the new layout for the forum. I prefer the blue colour to the brown and I love how fresh and organised it is!

As for the changing banners option, I think it would be a nice idea to have a different banner image/colour for each bit.

For example the MRP section could have a banner and colour in the same style as this one, and then the section on "talk about editing" could have a different colour and banner. But have the same banner and colour for each section all the time. For instance if you refreshed the MRP section the same banner and colour would be there.

If that makes sense? O_O

I am actually not really sure if I understood this clearly but I guess I can imagine what you mean... This is a good idea, but probably not realizable. xD A changing header is based on a random system. The pictures are changing by chance, so I cannot influence, which banner would appear for a certain category or link... On The other hand it probably would take a lot of effort to make the coloring of the header change AND be fitting to the rest of the board style at the same time o.O Don't get me wrong, I'm bent on putting a lot of effort into the new design and I'm determined to dedicate much time into it. But your words gave me an idea....
I think in about two or three weeks, there will be a new voting. It will take some time, cause I want to make something out of all your suggestions and then we can see what you guys think^^ Thanks telling us your opinion! <3

I wasn't sure where to put my comment about the heading we have right now, so I'm sorry if this isn't the place! To be constructive, this new "rotating" header doesn't work. When it rotates, at least for me, you can still see the original announcement under the videos, and it never changes back. It gets "stuck". Aside from that, I feel like it's really busy to have videos up there, when we could have a topic for featured videos being promoted by the forum. To be perfectly honest, I liked the first design, with rotating character headers. It wasn't busy, but it kept attention because you were looking at something different whenever you change the page. Anyway, that's what I think. I hope it's constructive when deciding on new looks for the forum!

Okay. All of this sounds a bit strange.
There actually is no "new" rotating header. I only added some announcements - the header with the rotating characters was not removed, it's still there. Could you please make a screenshot of the forum and show it to me?
Which browser are you using? I do know that in FireFox, the announcements might not scroll fluently for everyone, but in chrome it works fine.
