Hmm...I went around Korean blogs about Final fantasy (cause I miss discussing my fandom in my 1st language) and well...FF forum kinda died here and there, actually FF forum died a lot. Advent Children's not even discussed anymore, absolutely no love for FF9^^;;;; Some love for FF6 and 8, There WERE lot of love for FF7 but it kinda died out....Most people in Korean doesn't even know what AMV is (so I went around posting AMV +_+ not made by me but other people, other people meaning people most likely to be in this "I'm vidding it" forum
man, but I was surprised, people who doesn't even know what AMV was already knew clover
forum had her video of Final fantasy 7 opening remake and people were like "I don't know what this is, and how did this person do it but it's freaking awsome")-ahem- enough side-story, and of course recent issue in forum had to be Final fantasy 13 >.< (and FF Distant World live concert in Seoul, Korea)
People generally seems to be disappointed about it D= A lot of people liked it, which is why they were disappointed. A lot of people pointed out that FF13 did such a wonderful job focusing on each characters' stories, yet when it's almost to the end, it didn't tie in well together. A lot of people's reaction after the ending was "??????" or "was that it?" They said the ending was definitely wasn't a bad ending but it didn't have this feeling of completion. (I actually felt that too) People do seem to agree on one thing, Graphic and battle system is fantastic, period.
I hate to admit it but I agree on some part......D=
Especially at the part where Lightning wasn't much of a main character....at chapter 10-13 (or was it 8-13? I don't remember) I was like "Do something! Lightning!! +_+"( maybe because I'm a Lightning fan) It's not like she didn't do anything but....I don't know if I can say that she was main character of FF13.
