So does anyone have any editing pet peeves?

It can be anything! Obviously we're all different so different things annoy us!

For me, I find incorrectly sized clips an annoyance - must be the OCD -  my eyes keep flicking to the sides or tops of the screen where there's black space!

And also lip flapping - where the character's mouthes move but the clip is muted so they're just sort of going blahblahblah - looks messy to me !

Also enormous watermarks. Or even just watermarks. If a thief gonna thieve, they'll take it watermark or not.

I bet we've all got some weird and wonderful ones! GO!

(fyi this is about actual editing not about shit that youtubers do lol)

I agree with yours. Well time to write a list.

1. I don't like when the mouth moves and there's no audio to it.
2. Inaccurately sized clips
3. When people use one clip for far too long
4. When crossovers and so overbearing that they make no sense like Fluttershy x Usher or some shit.
5. Text in the middle of the screen when it is unwarranted just because editor is being lazy
6. Too many add layers
7. When everyone is doing the same thing in their videos and so everyone else copies it and suddenly everyone you know is doing the same effects.

Those are some of mine lol
