| Personally I would use FL Studio 'Producer Verson' but the're better alturnatives out there, like;
Magic Music Maker 11 Delux,
Audacity, or
Sony Music Forger 8. |

| well I used to have a program called MagiX Music Maker. it was pretty good actually, great for splitting audio and combining and mixing songs. It was pretty easy to use too ^^ I don't have it anymore though, considering it was on my old laptop ;o; |

Well it isn't really the program that you need to worry about, its more how well the microphone/audio cable records because if you have a bad one it can sound grainy and distorted which you don't want. Ages ago I recorded myself playing the piano using a keyboard and a good audio-cable which I pluged into the microphone slot on my computer - I used Windows Movie Maker to record myself but I would suggest Sony Vegas. ^_^ ___________________________________ ___________________________________ Administrator of the Gamzic Gaming Community - Come and Join For Free! |

I once had to record myself singing for my sister's university project with a very bad microphone... it was one of those with the earphones, you know XDDDD But I didn't have anything better XD So I recorded it with Sony Vegas and I tried to use some effects so I could hide all the noise... at the end, it wasn't very professional, but at least you could hear it without saying "Oh, shit, that noise is terrible!" XDDDD So do you know any tips to make the background noise disappear? n___n' Since I can't afford a better microphone.... XDDDDDDDDDD |

Best thing to do is record it in a room where you can close the door so that the microphone can't pick it up. I don't know of any programs that may help cancel out the background noise but I presume they cost money. ___________________________________ ___________________________________ Administrator of the Gamzic Gaming Community - Come and Join For Free! |

adobe audition 3.0 and Sony Acid pro both have noise reduction in the defaults. Through a series of effects -on adobe audition for me- you can make radio quality sound. But tbh, if its a microphone jack -pink round thing slot- then thers going to be ALOT of static that just cannot be removed. USB is the way to go as its more to do with actual background noise. Another additional program not with audition or acid is guitar rig, which has pure noise cancellation, however, its difficult to get the sliders just right. |
