| One of my friends heard about this, but we don't know if it's true or not... She heard there's a way to save your masks. Like, being able to use them again in different projects. I think it sounds extremely useful (and awsome) But it might not be true at all. Does anyone know how to do this, or if it's even real? If you know please share a tutorial or your wisdom?? Thanks! ^___^ |

| Just render the mask section as a seperate video, as you'd render the full thing normally, but instead selecting the certain part (the section with the mask) only. If you wanted to just render say...Namine's face, with the background cut out, layer it over a green plain background, and render that. Then when you use the scene again, chroma keyer the green out. Green is best to go with cuz its easier to eliminate it all. Hope that makes sense ^^ |

| ^ I find with the above method it can create an unwanted green luminance around the image and degrade the quality. I've tried it and dislike it.
Basically, keep a folder titled masks to save all your mask projects into. Save the project with the masked clip inside (i.e Yuna dancing) and name your project something you'll find easy to remember what is inside. Open a new project and the Masking Project Copy the masking project clip and paste it into the new project You can now close your masking project and you'll have the clip with mask in your new project. |

| Easier way is to just have a project called 'Masks' put any masked clips you have done in there (not rendered or else there'll be black background) This can be done by copy and paste, long as you have another window open :3 Like yeah the chroma keying will work, but I think things are easier this way xD |

| Yeah, like others mentioned, I'd recommend to save all your masks after copy and pasting them onto a separate project file, solely for them, and save them there. I don't think rendering your masks over green screen will work, as it will end up damaging the masking quality after you chroma keyed. (I've done that before, so I know first hand @@) |

| There actually is a way to save your masks and not by just copy and paste from another window. A girl name xKaoru had done a tutorial about it but it was removed when she went on a deleting spree. I honestly can't remember how she did it, but I'll experiment and see if I can figure out since I remember a few things she showed. |

| I suppose you could go a hard way of saving each frame as png and importing into photoshop to make a gid, so the background is transparent o.o but it's too much work xD |
